Shara was born and raised in Houston, TX. and attended Pastor James Kilgore's church, Life Tabernacle, growing up. She graduated from the University of Houston in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in education and taught 8th grade Algebra at Friendswood Junior High for two years. In 1998, Shara married her true love,then evangelist Rob McKee. They traveled full time for two years before coming to Katy, TX  in 2000 where they now pastor.

Shara is a proud and loving mother of two daughters, Savannah Gayle and McKenna Belle. She currently  serves as the Pastor’s wife and music director/worship leader of The Pentecostals of Katy. She also is the director of “Little Lords and Ladies” preschool owned by the church. Shara has been singing her whole life beginning at the age of 4 when she would go with her mom, brother and sister to sing at the local nursing home.

Her first vocal recording was with the Life Youth Choir, “Live and on Fire” in 1993. She has appeared as a guest soloist on several other projects including JCM, Revival Tabernacle, United Praise and others. Her newest project entitled “Break Through” will be available in May 2009. This will be her 6th recording with Huff Studios.

Shara is a passionate singer with powerful vocals. She is an outstanding worship leader who truly knows how to usher people into the presence of the Lord.
